First developed by German-born Joseph Pilates, who believed mental and physical health were closely connected, Pilates is a form of exercise which aims to strengthen the body, with particular emphasis on core strength to improve general fitness and wellbeing.  It has something to offer people of all ages and levels of ability and fitness, from beginners to elite athletes. 


Jackie is trained with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute.  This modified Pilates technique has been designed specifically for rehabilitation settings and the method of instruction ensures that individuals are provided with safe and scientifically researched movement patterns.
