As Physiotherapists our primary aim is to help people overcome injury and pain in order to achieve their goals.

We are fortunate to work alongside a wide range of highly motivated individuals and we love seeing first hand the positive impact that our management has upon their lives. Here are just a few testimonials from people that we have had the privilege to work with.

“Most importantly for me she gave me a treatment plan that I could work with around my training.”

I couldn’t recommend Jackie at Parham Physiotherapy enough. Her professionalism and knowledge was reassuring from my first consultation. Sport has been a big part of my life, in the last few years specifically Crossfit. As I got older and continued to train intensively I found I needed help with a recurring back problem to enable me to compete and train to the standard I used to. Jackie identified the issue promptly, treated it and provided me with stretching techniques to self manage the issue going forward. She is friendly, puts you at ease and most importantly for me she gave me a treatment plan that I could work with around my training, rather than stopping training completely.

“He has always been pro-active and has helped me return to top flight professional sport.”

I had the fortune of working with Ceri over a number of years and with a variety of both acute and chronic injuries. His tactile demeanour was both professional and encouraging and his charismatic bedside manner made light work of serious long term injuries which can be as detrimental in terms of mental health as physical. He has always been pro-active and has helped me return to top flight professional sport on several occasions and undoubtedly prolonged my career as a result of his endeavours. Even now that he isn’t my club physio, I routinely make time to see him for acupuncture. A lot of people can put needles into you, but it’s not that often you find someone who can make such a difference with them.

“She has also taught me so much about how my body works.”

Seeing Jackie was more than just repairing injuries through training. It completely changed the way that I was able to manage the physical stress that high mileage running caused to my body. Her personable approach not only means that she gains good understanding of my needs, but she has also taught me so much about how my body works and how to prevent injuries reoccurring. She is never afraid to encourage me to keep training if safe to do so, rather than rest – which is a quality that not many professionals have confidence in doing. On the lead up to taking part in SAS: Who Dares Wins, my training volume increased dramatically, but it was thanks to Jackie that I reached the day of travel injury free and ready to go. I really cannot recommend her highly enough.

“A world class physio but more importantly a world class person.”

I was fortunate enough to work closely with Ceri for about 9 years of my rugby career. Ceri helped me throughout no end, both in terms of direct physio therapy to which there is very few better and at a personal level. He was a pleasure to be around and work with, always leaving in a better mood than arriving. Ceri is a world class physio but more importantly a world class person.

“I have seen significant improvement from receiving physio and acupuncture treatment.”

Jackie and Cerian have helped me and my family with various injuries and ongoing pain problems on my shoulder. Jackie discussed acupuncture and physio with me and I have seen significant improvement and I am sleeping so much better. I am delighted with the outcome of both treatments. Jackie and Cerian are very professional and I feel totally confident in their expertise of physio and acupuncture treatments and would certainly recommend them both.

“Always looking out for what’s best for the client.”

After working with Ceri for many years I can genuinely say he is one of the best physios I have worked with, his knowledge and understanding of the body is endless. As well as his knowledge his character and attitude is never questioned as he is always looking out for what’s best for the client.

“It’s very rare to have a physio that is so sports minded.”

I have been lucky enough to have Ceri as my physio for a few years now following a pretty horrific trampling by a horse. He is the only reason I am still able to continue to train and compete professionally to a high level and be at my very physical best when surgeons told me I probably wouldn’t ride again. You know you’re in safe hands, he’s so knowledgeable and it’s very rare to have a physio that is so sports minded and I wouldn’t use or trust anyone else. Very lucky to have him as part of Team Straker Dressage.

“Jackie is so positive, and she has been extremely effective in how she has treated me.”

I was apprehensive about seeking physiotherapy for multiple, longstanding back problems but was tremendously reassured by Jackie’s friendly and approachable personality. At my first physiotherapy session Jackie quickly put me at ease as we talked about the serious problems with my back and neck and how she would begin treatment. Jackie is so positive, and she has been extremely effective in how she has treated me. She turned my life around, more that I could have hoped, moving me from being pessimistic to being optimistic about my physical capabilities. I appreciated Jackie’s sensitivity and understanding of my conditions. Her skill and knowledge has enabled me to be active in ways I thought would not be possible again. Jackie was my first choice Physiotherapist and I thoroughly recommend her to be your first choice also. I am deeply grateful to Jackie for all she has done for me.

“I am much stronger and not in pain.”

I have suffered from back problems for many years and was looking for help recovering from a recent disc prolapse. Jackie was very helpful in identifying the issues involved and set manageable exercise routines for me. Having followed the programmes for a number of months, I am much stronger and not in pain. I am very grateful.

“ I couldn’t recommend them highly enough to others”

Jackie and Ceri have looked after our family for a number of years now and my wife, two children and I feel very lucky to have them so close to us. They are both excellent physios, quick to diagnose the root cause of the problem and then able to provide an appropriate treatment plan and the support framework to ensure that we actually carry it out!! They are also both such lovely and friendly people and they are able to explain things in a very calm, professional and personable way that instantly puts you at ease. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough to others.

“Absolutely brilliant.”

Absolutely brilliant. I have struggled with chronic back pain for decades. I’ve seen various different masseurs, chiropractic clinics etc and although they helped none have been anywhere near as good as Jackie at Parham’s. I walked my dog this morning and I can honestly say it is the first time in a very very long time that I was completely pain free. If you are willing to do the exercises that you are offered by Jackie and put the time in, you will not regret it. Jackie is also a really friendly and bubbly person and regularly makes me laugh. I cannot recommend Parham Physiotherapy highly enough. Thank you so much Jackie. Keith F.
